Happy Anniversary! Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that is! For those of you that are Nordstrom cardholders like myself early access started last week and the sale goes live to the public today.
I love this sale, but stocking up on Fall and Winter items in the middle of summer is just not my thing (the sale is primarily the coming season’s items at 30-40% off). I know I probably should shop ahead, but again, just not my thing.
So I have been “shopping” the sale everyday online from the comfort of my couch, seeing if there are any items that I cannot live without (so far there are only a few) and have only purchased a couple of items. To be honest, it’s been an expensive summer so I need to keep my shopping in check which is why I have not stepped foot inside the Holy Grail of stores. #nowillpower. Here’s what I have purchased so far:
You may recognize those Reef Mallory Flip Flops as they were my favorites. Here’s why I need a new pair:
Mostly, I have been relying on my favorite fashion bloggers to do the leg work and let me know what it is that I can’t live without and thought it only fair that I share their awesomeness with you.
First up is Pinterest Told Me To
I’ve talked about Sheaffer and her blog before (you can read that post here). This gal takes the sale SERIOUS! I think she has 5 posts thus far on the 2015 Nordstrom Anniversary sale and her picks never disappoint. She has a knack for picking out casual and comfortable clothes that manage to make this mama feel put together with minimal effort. She also has a great eye for accessories, something I never really spent much time with and now I feel naked without some sort of statement necklace and bracelet. You can check her sale picks out here . I have my eye on this Kendra Scott Dylan Necklace.
Next is C. Style
I’ve never mentioned C. Style before because I am relatively new to her blog but am now a devotee. I especially love Carly’s fashion inspiration pics on Instagram. She too has put a couple of posts together on the Nordstrom Anniversary sale which consist of a lot of great staples for the Fall. Some of her items tend to be a little on the pricey side, but I know she would not recommend them if she did not think they were worth the investment. You can check her Nordstrom Anniversary Sale posts out here. I definitely am planning on checking out the Joe’s Curvy Skinny Jeans she featured. I have 3 pairs of Joe’s and they are super comfortable and one of those pieces that are worth the investment, as well as this North Face Puffer jacket.
Lastly is Charming in Charlotte
I have only been following this blog for a couple of months now but like Pinterest Told Me To and C. Style blogs, I am now a huge fan. Mallory has great sense of style both with fashion and her home décor (check out her home tour here). She has a great post on all the beauty products that are a part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. You can check that post out here. I am definitely going to give the RevitaLash a try.
That’s it for now. I’m thinking about venturing into the store tonight but am bringing my list of items that I need to add or replenish so as not to go too sale crazy. What about you? Have you hit the sale up already? I would love to hear what items are on your “Can’t Live Without” list. Have a great weekend!
