Hi friends! Hope you had a Happy Halloween full of treats & maybe a few tricks! Can you believe it’s November already? It’s crazy that we are in the final 2 months of 2015. Even more reason to keep up our workouts as we head into the holiday season. Unfortunately we did not get all three of the circuits done this week. No excuses, I was super tired this week and waking at 4am to get our BBG circuits done, only happened once this week.
I am proud to say that I was able to run three times this week and I felt stronger with each run. I had tentatively planned on running a 5K on November 14th but had not committed because I was feeling like I was not ready. I know it’s only a 5K, but I want to run it really well. After this week’s runs however; I feel like I can do it. I want to see how my runs go this week and will make my decision by the upcoming weekend.
As for my mileage, as of November 1st I have completed 76.69 miles towards my 150 for the Fall Charity Challenge. There are only 2 more weeks left in the challenge so unless I average 5 miles a day for the next 14 days, It’s not likely that I will hit my 150 mile goal. I’m actually not disappointed, as long as I complete 100 miles during the challenge, anything beyond that is bonus. It’s also really gratifying that my miles have earned money for my charity, Operation Smile.
